Stall Sizes
Stall and-a-Half (Approximately 4’ Wide): Horses are cross-tied in this configuration, with a chest bar in front. A hay net is hung between the horses, and each horse has their own water bucket on the outside wall.
Box Stall (8’ Wide, 10x10 diagonally): Horses are loose, and can move freely around their stall. This is the optimal stall configuration, as research has proven the health benefits to horses being able to eat their hay off the floor and move freely during transport. Horses are known to arrive to their destination more rested, content, and with less risk of health issues associated with transportation.
